Think You'll Never See Megaman Again? Then Back Mighty No. 9!

So wonderful

This will be a short, but important, post today that I'll start with a little disclaimer: I don't like kickstarters.

Since this craze started I've seen the merit in them, but also see ahead to the plethora of problems that may or may not happen at a later time from the videogames industry leans on it like a crutch instead of just being able to handle their own budgets. But that maybe a post for another time.

This is the first Kickstarter in the history of the trend that I'm deeply thinking about supporting: Keiji Inafune's Mighty No. 9.

It's been no secret if you haunt a lot of the gaming sites out there about how Capcom has been butting the line of downright criminal with how they've treated the Megaman series in recent years, punctuated by the cancellation of Megaman Legends 3 and the carrot on a stick nature of the companies talk about the character, with the subsequent release of everything related to the character that but a game, even in its celebratory 25th year. I'd even go one further and suggest how the character hasn't been treated right for over a decade, but I won't -even that might be a post for another time.

So if you love Megaman, and you want to support him, then say something to Capcom by not saying anything to or about them at all by turning your attention away from their chicanery, to help to fund the game being toted on as the spiritual successor to one of the most beloved series of all time, being created by none other then Megaman's daddy and a team of highly talented developers.

Simply stunning

Theres really no way I can sell this game to you myself, I'm just not that good at that sort of thing, you really have to go over to the Kickstarter page and see how every image drips with the goodness you've been looking for from a Megaman game, but have only been able to get from fans.

If your a fan of platformers who's looking for more, or if your a die hard Megaman fan thats still feeling the burn, then kick in something, anything, to fund this game. The Mighty No. 9 is a game that needs to happen.
