Well, Sony's letting us be a little more prepared then some; allowing us to download the PS4s day 1 patch and save it to a USB drive so we can install it to our PS4s without causing a small apocalypse to happen to their servers (which will probably happen any way, lets face it) during the PS4s launch on Friday (It's here. By God, it's here!).
Sony even has a nice, simple, guide prepared to help folks go about easily downloading and installing the patch correctly, with, from what it seems, very little fuss. I did it earlier (downloaded it, my PS4 is days away too), and so far it's been a snap. Really nothing a child couldn't do these days.
So, what are you waiting for? If your getting PS4 in the next week, and have a USB drive lying around, go get your patch now!
